Something that’s been bothering me for a while is the fact that people really believe that they need to carry a “small balance in their credit cards, instead of paying it off in full. This is a lie! 😲⠀

Leaving a balance on your #creditcard does not affect your credit score. What does affect your it is your utilization (or how much of your credit limit you are using). Carrying a balance month over month will only make you pay interest and potentially keep your utilization high and could ACTUALLY be hurting your credit score. 😐⠀

If your goal is to be completely debt free, and credit score is something you don’t care about, this may not apply. 😉⠀
